Friday is the Wrong Day
Apple did a bad thing. On Friday, the released the software update for
OS X 10.3.9. This is a bad thing because today is NOT a working day, and they
really need to be at work. It is always bad to schedule a software rollout
for a friday, and especially bad to schedule a comprehensive one. *sigh*.
The details: 10.3.9 breaks Java. It segfaults, it is terrible. If you, like I, upgraded to 10.3.9 and need your java, go to Apple's Support Download Page, and get Security Update 2005-002, which is the last Java update, and will install over 10.3.9, and fix your problem. |
