So, Mallet Assembly, the honor's dorm I've been attached to since I've been in college, has for many years hosted an election debate for UA's SGA called "The Last Word". This debate has been timed to be held on the last day before elections start, and it has always been an invitation event, and reasonably well received.

Last year, a Malleteer named Jordan Hernandez, who was running for president, resigned during the debate, left the room, dressed as Fidel Castro, and stormed back in, where he rejoined the debate. This was received less well. (But was funny as hell.)

This year, the election board decided that they wanted a big debate (The Last Word was always the only real debate held), but did not want it to become "A Circus".

I did mention that Mallet was an Honors dorm? Right, well, you can probably guess the rest.
