Tomorrow, the University of Alabama will play Auburn University in the Iron Bowl. For football fans in the south, this is The Game. This year, it is being held in Tuscaloosa, so the city is full of 'fans'.

I hate 'fans'.

Theresa and I were walking home tonight, and at a little convience store right near our townhouse, we were cut off by a car full of 'fans' swerving into the parking lot. The driver leaned out his window as he did this, and yelled "Boo, Nigger!".

An awful lot went on in me we little head in the following second. Theresa, however, pulled me away from going to address this asshole. She's seen this before, many times.

After we got home, we talked about this. I understand her concerns, for my safety, for the futility of the thing. I understand, but I don't think it trumps just how angry I was, and continue to be. This must be dealt with, every time it happens, no matter how futile.

I have to go to bed now.
